About Don

Don Perryman, a.k.a. The Spin Doctor, is The Messenger’s Managing Editor. He has been with the paper for eight years. He spent his first year in Madisonville as a sports reporter before becoming lead reporter for seven years. Prior to coming to Madisonville, Don was a sports reporter at the Bangor (Maine) Daily News and a number of weekly newspapers in Maine. A native of Tennessee, Don spent his summers growing up in Webster County, Kentucky.
